Policy on Mailboxes in Road Right-of-Way

Section I. Purpose

To address problems created by mailboxes placed within the road right-of-way.

Section II. Policy

1. The Town will not be responsible for damage to mailboxes or other articles placed within the road right-of-way.

Section III. Effective Date

This policy shall become effective on the date of approval by the Board of Selectmen.
