Please note the paperwork needed to register or re-register new or used boats, snowmobiles and ATVs at the Town of Holden.  General registration information is also provided.

Boats:

Re-registration - Bring previous registration with you.

New Registration (Private Sale) – Bring Bill of Sale, serial number, make, year, horse power and length of boat.

New Registration (Dealer Sale) –Bring Sales Invoice.

All boat registrations expire December 31st of each year. To renew your boat registration, you will need to pay your boat excise tax (based on the length of the boat, horsepower of the motor and age of the boat), a state registration fee (based on the size of the motor) and an agent fee of  $1.00.

Snowmobiles:

Re-registration - Bring previous registration with you.

New Registration (Private Sale) – Bring Bill of Sale, serial number, make and year of boat.

New Registration (Dealer Sale) – Bring Sales Invoice.

All snowmobile registrations expire June 30th of each year. To renew your snowmobile, you will need to pay a state registration fee of $45.00 and an agent fee of $1.00.

ATVs:
