Fire/Rescue Department Auxiliary: Description: The Fire/Rescue Department Auxiliary is a separate volunteer, non-profit organization established to assist and support the Holden Fire/Rescue Department. The Auxiliary holds several fundraising events each year and sponsors Fire/Rescue Department family activities. The Auxiliary also maintains and awards the Arthur Copeland Memorial Scholarship each year to a deserving student who is furthering his or her education in the field of fire science technology. Qualifications: Membership in the Auxiliary is open to anyone who is interested in volunteering, having fun and making a difference in the community. Other Information: Auxiliary members meet monthly and do not respond to emergency incidents. Auxiliary members however may provide logistical support at large incidents. This is an outstanding opportunity for anyone who does not have the time or flexibility to become a firefighter or and EMT but still wishes to contribute to the community. Still Interested?
