Did you know that it is illegal to throw away the American flag?

Well, here is your chance to dispose of that old worn out flag. The Boy Scouts Pack 21 will be holding a flag retirement ceremony at the Holden Veteran’s Memorial on Saturday, June 16, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. So, if you have any torn/ faded or just old flags that you would like disposed of, then take them to the Town Office. Or you can come to the ceremony at the Holden Veteran’s Memorial. The ceremony is very impressive and the scouts do a great job.
