Description

Board of Assessment Review The Board of Assessment Review's primary duty is to review, complaint by property owners, and revise assessed values for the purpose of taxation of real and personal property within the Town limits made by the Town Tax Assessor.
Board of Cemetery Trustees The Board of Cemetery Trustees has the responsibility and authority to adopt, amend and enforce the rules and regulations governing cemetery activities.
Budget Review Committee The Budget Review Committee works with the Town Council, Staff and Town Manager and prepares a recommended budget that is presented at the annual Town Meeting.
Conservation Commission The mission of the Conservation Commission is to promote wise stewardship and conservation of the Town's natural resources and rural character through collaboration, education, and policy recommendations.
Holbrook Regional Recreation Committee The Holbrook Regional Recreation Committee convenes for the purpose of formulating and executing recreational activities for community residents. The towns of Holden, Dedham, Eddington and Clifton are represented on the Committee.
Holden Fire/Rescue Auxiliary The Holden Fire/Rescue Auxiliary is a separate volunteer, non-profit organization established to assist and support the Holden Fire/Rescue Department.  The Auxiliary holds several fund raising events each year and sponsors Fire/Rescue Department family activities.
Holden Historical Society The Holden Historical Society is a non-profit organization that strives to collect, preserve, promote and celebrate the history of our community.
Holden Town Council The Holden Town Council is policy-making body of the community. The Town Council also looks to the goals, major projects and infrastructure improvements ranging from community growth to land use to finances and strategic planning.
Holden Veterans Memorial Committee The Holden Veterans Memorial Committee primarily ensures the maintenance of the Holden Veterans Memorial, which was erected in 2008 through the efforts of the Holden Kids of Liberty and the Town of Holden.
Planning Board The Planning Board is responsible for the administration of the Town's Subdivision Ordinance and Zoning Ordinance.
Regional School Unit 63 Board of Directors Regional School Unit 63 (doing business as SAU 63) represents the towns of Holden, Eddington, and Clifton and is governed by an eight-member Board of Directors, who are elected during each town's Annual Town Meeting. 
Zoning Board of Appeals The Zoning Board of Appeals duties are to hear and decide administrative and variance appeals as detailed in the Zoning Ordinance.
