Dogs

  Licenses are issued for one year ending December 31st.  The License fees are as follows:
  • NEUTERED/SPAYED DOG $6.00
  • UNALTERED MALE OR FEMALE $11.00
  • KENNEL $42.00 (An onsite inspection is now required before the issuance of a kennel license.)

Any dog SIX (6) MONTHS OF AGE or older must be licensed.

DEADLINE for licensing is NO LATER THAN JANUARY 31ST.

You must present the following at the time of registration:

  • A current Maine rabies certificate
  • A neutering/spayed certificate if the dog has been altered

LATE FEE: A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for any license renewed after January 31st.
