Churches

  Grace Bible Church

Church History:

In the late 1920s a Ladies Aid Society was formed to fund and oversee the construction of a chapel in East Holden. In 1940 the church joined the urban (Rural and Urban) Fellowship along with other area churches. The construction of a parsonage next to the church was completed in 1957. The church was very active until the early 1960s when it closed until 1973. It reopened as the East Holden Community Church which has continued to operate until the present time. In 1995 the name of the church was changed to Grace Bible Church of E. Holden. The Grace Bible Church remains committed to preaching the gospel and ministering to families here in the Holden area.
