Polices

Disbursement Warrant Signing policy

  1. Disbursement of Town funds shall be in accordance with applicable State Law and the Town of Holden Disbursement Warrant Ordinance.

2. Disbursement of funds for employee’s wages and benefits, and payments for school costs in accordance with requisitions signed by the Superintendent and a
majority of the school Board of Directors, may be made on warrants signed by
one or more of the Selectmen.

3. For warrants which include payments to individuals or businesses in which a Selectman has a pecuniary interest, a notation shall be made next to the Selectman’s signature and in the minutes of the meeting, indicating the Selectman
abstained with regard to the payment in question.
